The Marle Group, which manufactured a million implants last year for an annual turnover of 85 M€, announced the acquisition of Finortho SAS on 30 October 2015.
This dynamic company created in 1990 today has 36 employees and a turnover of 2.3M€ and provides not only manual polishing, electrolytic polishing, vibratory finishing, micro bead blasting, cleaning, passivation, laser marking and anodizing, but also additive manufacturing with 3D printing of polyamide.
Finortho serves only the medical industry and is proud of its modern approach to polishing and its avantgarde utilization of sintering processes both for rapid prototyping and for the manufacture of disposable made-to-measure cutting guides in biocompatible plastic. The company is ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certified.
On 30 January 2016, Finortho SAS merged with SEEP SAS, part of the Marle Group since 2011 and specialized in machining, anodizing, coating and clean room packaging. From this union is born a new entity within the Marle Group: Marle Finishing SAS.
The acquisition of Finortho and the subsequent merger with SEEP to create Marle Finishing enable the Marle Group to respond to the increasing market demand for expertise in polishing and to reinforce the development of an ever more complete supply chain solution for its customers.
